AVON makes a summer tire called the Turbospeed CR27. This tire is designed for dry road driving, certainly not winter driving. You will find that the CR27 has a 7 rib symmetrical tread design that keeps road noise in the car to a minimum. The inside of the Turbospeed Cr27 has dual steel belts that are reinforced with nylon and a rayon cord.
These are not what you would call cheap tires and have been reported selling for multiple hundreds of dollars on closeout.
Most of the tires in the Avon family have a decent warranty and the Turbospeed CR27 is no exception. You'll find a uniformity warranty that covers the first year of driving.
